Welcome to the African Forum (AF) website. The AF is a Community based Charity launched on November the 13th, 2007. As our Logo shows, we aim to bring the Community under the ‘African Tree’ to talk about the future and celebrate all things African. Our mission is

“TO CELEBRATE, LIBERATE, INFORM AND INSTIL AFRICAN VALUES AND VALUE SYSTEMS TO OUR AFRICAN COMMUNITY”.

Our purpose is:

'the meeting of African and Caribbean heritage people for discussions on the way forward for our communities in Great Britain and our positive influence and impact on our Nation States'.

Our values are:

AAfrican Value systems; its promotion through our sense of spirituality and fairness to all.

FFreedom; Promoting the rights of Africans to free speech, challenging oppression where it exists and negative mindset.

RRespect; Promoting respect for Elders and Institutions.

IInformative; Promoting the principle that good people are well educated and well informed.

CCultural awareness to build community cohesion; A spirit of strength in numbers. The advancement, promotion and development of the African culture, arts and heritage.
